how does a paper folding machine work

The SPEED combination folder can produce at a speed of up to 220 meters per minute (10,450 sheets per hour on 25"X38” standard paper), enabling it to keep up with the production speed of modern offset presses with a 1:1 ratio. This folder uses an advanced drive system, continuously folding paper using bending plates and cross folding knives, ensuring that the paper is always under positive control even at high speeds. It reduces labor and floor space requirements, allowing a single operator to manage all processes on the folder at full speed, including sheet collection. In addition, the SPEED can further automate the folding process by adding a glue spray system, allowing the flat sheets to be glued and folded into a book, thus eliminating binding labor.
