Experience Fast Folding with the SPEED Machine

Inside the SPEED folding machine folder, the paper passes through two rotating rollers, which feed the paper into a pair of guide plates. These guide plates redirect the paper at a slight angle, causing it to curve. At the distal end of the guide plates, there is a "paper stop". As the rollers continue to rotate, the paper slides between the guides until it encounters the paper stop, with no more room to move. This causes the paper to bend at the interface between the roller and the inclined guide. As the rollers keep rotating, the crease forms and is eventually captured by a pair of "pressing" rollers. These rollers pull the crease in, compress it, and flatten it into a neat fold.
